I'm thinking range limited. Rolling is so much more efficient than walking. Maybe walkers have a future for very specialized tasks. |

I would think the target is rough terrain and being able to follow the squishy bipeds wherever they may roam. The pack mule system from Boston Dynamics looked promising, the AT-AT probably not so much. |
