I don't see a review here about :: Napoleon : The Man Behind the Myth::
by Adam Zamoyski,
anyone have one…or more, opinions?

I note the author otherwise, not much cared for.
I thought his work on the 'Congress' was a little, slow in parts. But he certainly captured some personalities.
thanks d

My dad's favorite Dad Joke was:
"Where was Napoleon when the lights went out?@
"In the dark."

When I was a kid, I preferred:

'Where did Napoleon keep his armies?'

- 'Up his sleevies'.

Well then, a serious author but no one read it.
Guess I've saved myself some funds…

For one, I'm not overly impressed by Zamoyski's work on either Napoleon or the 1812 campaign.
