The ECWtravelogue visited Birmingham to find evidence of sieges, battles, storming and skirmishes. And found quite a lot (despite nearly 400 years of building development). link

Nicely done, KYPD, I live around there but didn't know about all of these

Very interesting stuff.

But: "Hawkesley Hall doesn't exist anymore as it was raised to the ground." I think you mean "razed". (Unless it was previously underground, of course.)

KYPD, I need to see another of your new units. Your starving me man.

Sorry takeda, new job has meant I have had little time (or inclination) to paint since mid-February. I have managed some harquebusiers which are already in the new post schedule. I have also been asked to write something (don't ask, can't tell – yet), so that is taking up some of my attention.

Throw into the mix the ability to get out and visit places I have been doing just that: during lockdown I planned lots of 'grand days out'. A lot of travelogue posts coming up over the next few months. Lots of important updates/additions to some older travelogue posts have already been posted.

Hope to visit some important sites (currently missing from the travelogue) over the coming weeks too.

But fear not, there are lots of new units waiting to be painted – mostly Scots Royalist. They'll get done soon.
