Doe anyone have pictures of painted 28mm SYW Eureka Teddy Bears that they can share with me as a painting guide? |

Unfortunately my 14-bear detachment (9 rank and file, officer, 2 drummers, ensign, and mounted colonel) are in a different physical location so I can't photo them. But I can tell you that they have red coats with green facings (drummers in reversed colors) with a flag that is a Christmas-y Union Jack (red field with white and green crosses), and they are on white (snow-covered) bases. In formation with a few snow-covered trees, they are a seasonal holiday decoration. (Fur for most is a mix of browns, with one black bear and one polar bear drummer.) |

Take your favorite SYW uniform. Leave off the pants and boots. Go nuts on the flag. A rocking horse instead of the white horse of Hanover? Candy Canes instead of the Hessian Barre Lion? Your only limit is your imagination. |

I painted a Black Bear and a Brown Bear army. The musicians were painted as white Polar Bears ( sort of like cavalry musicians riding on white horses. |
