Why do people mount flags on pikes? Flag poles of 17c should not reach the ground without touching the flag. |

Andyuk – I do big flags just for the fun of it, they are not at all realistic in terms of scale, and having the pole fixed to the base helps to keep them secure. Pikeman666 – the flags for the Nassau-Friesland/Gardes te Voet are commercial ones painted over by me to make them less shiny; the Aylva unit's flag I did myself. Thanks for the praise! |
