I was very tempted to do a full write up of what inspired the making of all these vignettes. But why? Is the whole point of a vignette not to be part of the a subplot of a game? To provide an anecdote or to add drama? Indeed, to tell a story in it's own right? With that in mind, I'm going to let the pictures do the talking.

Please visit my blog for the full panoply of images- I didn't count them but there must be over 100 so not prqacticable to post them all here:

Thanks for all the words of encouragement guys.

Putting together vignettes I have naturally done throughout my painting "career" and it has come of a bit of a surprise to be that I had not thought of doing a post based on the idea before.

I thought vignettes were female vigiles?

(Very nice work.)

Cheers guys. Many more on the way for certain. It's always a welcome break for me when painting unit after unit to punctuate the mini painting with a vignette or two :)
