"It is hard to believe that this happened 32 years ago. But the memory that sticks in my mind is what a Chinese provincial premier told me 2 months prior to this crackdown in one of those banquets that the Chinese always enjoy having. I was working in China as a minor and humble diplomat at the time, and I asked him on what was going to happen. He warned me that the tanks were going to be sent in. I did not believe him at the time. How could you send in the tanks to crush what essentially were young students and the future of your country? But crush them they did…"

An incredibly sad day. For anyone who remembers that day it shows how ridiculous is the statement that the Chinese, (Syrian, Iraqi, Afghanis, etc.), don't really want freedom. |

Same thing happening in Hong Kong these days, too. The CCP is an evil regime bent on world domination, and every means justifies the end. |

A very sad day for freedom AND democracy. It IS good to see that so many brave Chinese are still remembering and protesting against China's government. I wish them well, and success, but sadly it appears that removing the current, corrupt government will be very difficult indeed. |

Pretty sad that big tech has become a puppet of the CCP. And the media barley talks about the suppression of freedom in Hong Kong anymore. |

Yes, big tech, big sports, and an American family ARE carrying water for the Chi-com government, and doing their bidding, which is wrong. That should be illegal in the USA. |

Watch it live on a raw Network footage stream off a large satellite in use back then. The military responded with calm until the rioters killed drivers in isolated military trucks. The scenes where they used long bamboo poles to beat soldiers back into burning APCs which had been impaired by crowd barricades was a very telling event. |
