I'm working on a huge Battle of Ipsus game, which will first run in late September at the London GT. For the next few weeks I shall be mostly finishing the elephants. I'll post other inmages here as I finish them.

Love the painting on the Indian ones with the pink patches. Never seen that reproduced on models before, but seen it in life. Beautiful work! |

Thanks all- much appreciated! Mollers, yes the pink patches are a thing you see on a lot of older Indian elephants, it's becoming something of a trademark on my pachyderms. |

The pink patches are a kind of freckling and a way to ID different elephants. Lots of pink patches here! She only has eyes for you :)

It's a really cool effect- often seems to occur on high points and places where the skin experiences wear. |
