I've been painting some Tumbling Dice 1/600th scale aircraft for the 1969 Football War, as well as a few Salvadoran and Honduran jets for a 'What If?' 1970's follow on conflict. More photos on the blog:

Working title for the follow on clash being 'They think it's all over' or possibly, 'It's a game of two halves?'

How about "… it's much more serious than that." referring to the Bill Shankly life and death quote.

Really nice work. I have the TB models for the Korean War. You may have just inspired me to paint them up and run a game.

Nice! I didn't know this war and just looked it up on line. Wow!

It's obscure but also really cool… you can paint the entire air force for both sides in a weekend!
