… 1962; a memorial will now remember them "May 14In the handwritten letter Sgt. 1st Class Lindsay Hester sent his wife on March 12, 1962, he sweetly addressed her as "Tweety Doll," told her he felt lonesome and mentioned she must be about four and a half months pregnant with their first child. "I still haven't thought of a girl's name yet, so just in case don't do anything till you hear from me," Hester wrote from his military post in California to his wife, Janice, in Shawmut, Alabama. She wrote him the same day, saying she missed him and that she recently felt their baby moving. She closed with, "I will always love you." But her letter came back, stamped "Return to Writer." Too bad, may they RIP. Glad to see at least a memorial is going up. Generally when an aircraft goes down in the middle of an ocean. It will rarely be found. Many flights even from WWII are still missing in that region. It's a big ocean … |

That is the worst of the lot. No body or maybe body parts to bury and respect. No explanation of how they died or why. How many planes lie in the ocean floor due to enemy action; that you can understand. Somehow this is like the Malaysian Airlines flight that just went rogue, but that would be no consolation to me if my wife and kids had been aboard. (Yes, I have read the very convincing book about what happened. God forgive him, I could not) |

"MH370 Mystery Solved" by Larry Vince. Despite the title, an unsensational well argued account, suggesting pilot suicide |

IMO as good a theory as any … it has happened before as well. |
