What recommendations would you suggest for the 1066 campaign in 28mm? I have a number of Gripping Beast, Crusader & Foundry, and I really like the look of Bob Murch's new 1066 KS link especially as he has the housecarls correctly using their left-handed axe swing (against the unshielded side). I don't mean just the combatants, but also the various civilians? Thank you |

Depends how picky you want to be about clothing and kit styles. Personally I don't mind using a few figures from a slightly earlier period. I can't see people going round saying "still using a round shield? But dahling, that's sooo last millennium! And your hauberk? A bit short, sweetie. Get your man to add some more rings to the bottom…" Anyway. For this period the world's yer lobster… link |
