Those Alps will be giving up her dead grudgingly for the next few hundred years.

I saw a number of those battle areas in Northern Italy. The Italians actually did an incredible job at war monuments and cemetaries. Look up the monuments at Redidipuglia for a good idea. It rivals the Canadian memorial at Vimy.

…so…in the past the Earth was warmer and this cave was open and useable. And then it got colder and a glacier sealed it over and preserved what was inside…and then it got warmer and the cave started to open up again revealing century-old remains and artifacts…should we call this Climate Change Archeology???
