Hello everyone, Which rules are specifically skimish rules with 28mm figures for the Napoleon period ? Thank you. |

Shakos & Bayonets – brand new and my top choice Sharpes practice and Chosen men are other options |

That would be "Sharp Practice". Maybe 50 figures per side, in groups of 6 or 8 which are capable of joining together into larger formations. |

Fistful of Lead, Horse and Musket. It's awesome! |

Thanks everyone, That's a lot, and in which cavalry and artillery can participate? |

Another vote for Sharp Practice by Too Fat Lardies, or Fistful of Lead Horse & Musket, depending on the size if game you want. |

Thank you blacksmith, is it the only one that allows the 1 for 1 man, horse or gun with cavalry and artillery for 28 mm Figure? |

I'll second Song of Drums & Shakos. In it 1 miniature represents 1 man. |

I think all the games mentioned are 1:1. At least Sharp Practice organises them in groups; I think Song of Drums and Shakos and Chosen Men play with fewer figures which are often activated individually. If you want horse, foot and guns in one action you would probably want to go for a game with several dozen figures, I would have thought. |

Sharp Practice if your idea of a skirmish is typically 40-120 figures per side. It's infantry focused but does include rules for cavalry and artillery. Tomahawk Studios are about to release a Napoleonic supplement for their ‘Musket & Tomahawk' rules. |

I want a skirmish game with horse, foot and guns… |

I have all 4, Sharp practice, Songs of Drums and Shakos, Chosen men and Shakos & bayonets. Sharp practice: you have to love the system. Respectable and I'd play it but the system is a not entirely to my taste. Songs of Drums and Shakos: simple quick fun game low figure counts Chosen men: a bit bland and uninspiring Shakos & bayonets: haven't tried yet but I like quite a lot the core rules. Same scale as Sharp practice but I enjoy slightly more the approach. |

And which of the 4 is a skirmish game with horse, foot and guns… |

Green Jackets and Voltigeurs. Awesome rule set! I have had more fun playing this rule set than any of the many rule sets I have played regardless of the type of battle. |
