I'd like to give a shout out and a thanks to TMP Member Frederick

At the end of March I asked for some suggestions for a 19th Naval Officer. There were many good suggestions from our Members, but I received a PM from Frederick. He told me that he had a few figures lying around and was perfectly willing to send me a few. I thanked him, but realizing that he lives in The Great White North I was afraid of the shipping costs. He told me not to worry about it, it was his pleasure to help and asked for my address.

A day or two later he sent me a tracking number and my Naval Officer figures were on the way. A week later I checked the tracking number, the figures appeared to be heading west. (As a point of reference, I live roughly south of him, but in SE Michigan. West shouldn't be a direction…..

A week later I checked again and the Canadian Post website informed me that on April 8th the figures had been delivered to a suburb of Vancouver B.C. NOT to SE Michigan……….

I wrote him and thanked him for his efforts, but it appeared that there was a SNAFU and his actions were for naught. A day later he responded that he had "had some harsh words" with his local Post Master. And these things rarely happened when the Postal Service was known as "Royal Mail". He offered to send me replacement figures AGAIN, FOR FREE. I told him his kindness was undeserved and I appreciated his efforts, but that was all up to him.

Fast forward to April 19th. His original package was redirected and finally delivered! Oh joy!! Oh happiness!! I immediately PMed him to give him the good news at which time he informed me that true to his word he had already sent anther package with more figures!!!

And today that package arrived.

So thank you very much Frederick. Your kindness to a stranger but fellow gamer is much appreciated. grin

And for those of you familiar with the television show "Letterkenny", I say…

"Get that man a Puppers" thumbs up

Dave

I'm adding my voice to the chorus of appreciation. Several years back, Frederick hooked me up with some Copplestone penguins that I wanted to use for some supers gaming (for The Penguin, obviously).

Thanks again, Frederick, for your generosity and selflessness.
