An AAR of our recent, slightly modified DBA24 encounter using late Renaissance forces link

Quite a cavalry melee on the flank.

I'd be interested to read your Renaissance mods, having troops for this conflict. Are they based on DBA 3.0?

We used DBA 3.0 for the base rules. We borrowed Pistol & Shot elements, combat factors, & distant shooting from DBR.

In retrospect, the Pistol distant shooting could probably be done away with, since it could be considered part of close combat.
