Hello everyone,

Oleg over at Avanpost miniatures posted this video today showing the next batch of French infantry coming out in the future. They look great! link

From Oleg, "And now it is time for the news for 28mm Napoleonics! There were no new figures of this range for so long – but we don't forgot about it 😉
Napoleon's Army was well known by its mobility. Due to its skills of fast marches french units were able to appear in most unexpected and advantageous positions, that granted great victories to the Napoleon. Quite often units had to engage the combat right after the march – and this is what we deciced to show in our closest release
French Line infantry in campaigh dress, engaging the battle: 11 figures, that includes officer, eagle-bearer, drummer, couple of NCOs and 6 fusiliers. Sculpting is finished, now these brave soldiers are going to production and soon will be available for ordering. Watch the news, dear friends!"

Superb. Oleg can be relied upon to produce wonderful figures and the artillery models are brilliant. I always think they look like the 28mm figures Historex would have produced had they been so inclined.

Outstanding!
A couple of them looked like they were wearing Dutch style wooden shoes!

Look nice. Who's 28mm scale tho ?
Not too many French wore clogs tho…

nicely sized cartridge boxes, I agree on the wooden shoes, moreover they wouldn't necessarily look like modern Dutch ones.

Nice poses, with the exception of the officers – what is he up to waving his sabre?

These look lovely. Is there any way I can buy some in the UK?
