Folks:

The big regional New England con, Huzzah!, was cancelled this year, so we are organizing a virtual one in its place.

"Hold the Line" will be held from May 21 to May 23, 2021. There are 30+ (mostly historical) remote miniatures games, workshops, presentations, and more.

Admittance is a modest $2.50 USD, and registration is now open. Go to:

Hope to see you there!

Cheers,

A. Gregory

Huzzah! 2021: Hold The Line is this weekend, May 21st, 22nd, and 23rd!

Of 37 options for gaming or hobby items on the schedule, currently only 9 are sold out, so that leaves 28 more where folks can find options for playing or hobbying. This includes, a session for painting buildings, another for painting figures, and one on 3D Printers from desk top to table top, plus another session is a lecture regarding infantry tactics during the ACW.

Software being used for this online/internet convention includes different types depending on which games or hobby options you choose. So if you have Discord, Roll 20, Skype, Teams, or Zoom, then there are games and hobby items here for you!

Friday session starts at 7pm EST.
Saturday sessions are at 10am, 3pm, 8pm, all EST.
Sunday Session is at 10am EST.

Join in on one or more sessions, and the entry fee is only $2.50 USD USD.

Congrats to all the GMs and players that showed up and made this possible!

The organizers seemed to do a super job keeping things flowing, well done!

Show was a great success for me.

I ran 3 games and all went off well. I found using two Webcams sped things up. I placed one on each table side with extended cables. Then as each player was on deck so to speak I adjusted the webcam for him. It was a lot of work with 2-3 players per side but worth the time and money.

I ran three games at the MHWA Virtual Convention last weekend I think. It was called "Hold the Line".

This was in place of the usual "Huzzah" convention the club runs every year.

Have a look at the Guilford Courthouse game I did on Sunday. I ironically used the board game of the same name. It is in 40mm with two webcams.

I hope to do more in the future.
