Cooperating for the projct WSS Kronoskaf I started again to prepare the templates for the Piedmontese units.
Hence I prepared the standards of Piemonte Reale Cavalleria and Savoia Cavalleria. Two glorious regiments, still existing today.

I did my military service in 1985 in the 3rd Armoured Squadron Group "Savoia Cavalleria", which still maintains its name.

In the Kronstaf article, it shows a standard bearer with the flag, but the illustration below appears to have the obverse and reverse exchanged.

Those are beautiful flags. I may have to add Piedmont forces to my British, Hanoverian, French, Austrian, Russian, and Prussian SYW armies. ;)

@Lascaris: Piedmont didn't partecipate to SWY, while it fought like lion in the Austrian War of Succession… Battle of Assietta and Battle of Madonna dell'Olmo
