Ged has just sent me these four from a customer who is very taken with his female VC range by all accounts. Well he surely does have talent for painting, even if not for picking his dates. Hard looking bunch these.

Legion 4 you are totally paranoid. For you anyone carrying a lethal weapon is out to kill you (funny that) Couple of girls are heading out for a night on the toon (local talk NE of England), "open carrying" an automatic rifle (US talk), plus reloads. Dead innocent. OK, I would not expect to see that outside a Newcastle upon Tyne bar after midnight (they would be wearing far less than that for sure and staggering) These two are just arguing about who gets the next round in. Girls up here, late on a Saturday, that can make Khe Sahn or Hue look like a pussy fight. |

I thought they had a bluish tinge to their pyjamas but I see now they;re black. Difficult colour to paint black. This is a great result. |

Highly dilated to help. The day you (or anyone) produce ARVN, in 28mm, that look the way I want them to look, I might even abandon 2eme DB vehicles in 20mm or Waterloo Prussian cavalry in 1/72 and come back to TOTS (The One True Scale). These are great painting though. They look female and they look Asiatic. I will allow their arms (they have been working out) but the Political officer really needs a chin shave! |
