I keep wanting to call the Torsion Engines Bolt Thowers, which they might well described as, but the image conjured up in my mind is that of my 1980's Citadel Orc and Goblin army which it does not sit well with my idea of what an Early Byzantine force ought to look like! Many more images from various angles and in combination with other units can be seen on my blog here: justaddwater-bedford.blogspot.com/2021/04/second-early-byzantine-torsion-engine.html

Looks great! And to your point, my Goblins would certainly use that, and call it a Spear Chukka! |

Looks great! And to your point, my Goblins would certainly use that, and call it a Spear Chukka! Why not? Going a bit OT here but would make a perfect Spear Chukka! I am thinking of buying a number of the old Grenadier Orcs and Goblins for an Oathmark army (I'm not really that much of a fan of the plastics) so may well be joining you with that idea :>) My Just Add Water Painting and Wargaming Blog: link |
