I don't recall seeing this in the news, so here you go: link Russia's got a flying, assault rifle drone, which is even capable of taking off vertically. Now, we have a flying assault rifle drone gap. |

I'm sure the ammo capacity can easily be upgraded if/when they field more powerful lift motors. Imagine one of those gatling guns strapped to a drone, like from the movie Predator, or the ones helo doorgunners use. |

So, not an AK-47 assault rifle but a Vepr-12 semi-auto shotgun with a 10 round magazine (says this early in the linked article) for shooting down other drones. |
