With the restrictions being loosened how great would it be reintroduce this beloved perk to our great gaming community. Hot oil optional.

I was hesitant the first massage I got at a Con. After bending over tables for hours my back was very tight.

Best thing I ever did. I felt like a new man after a 20 minute massage.

Highly recommended at any Con.

These days pain killers and throat lozenges in the swag bags might not be a bad idea either. Hmm. And possibly for VFCC a bracelet saying "HISTORICAL MINIATURES GAMER: PLEASE RETURN TO HMGS REGISTRATION DESK."

You know you're getting old when you look at a "Winsome Warriors" book and notice the facing colors.

Once was approached by a pimp to offer his 'ladies' to assist at the convention, we politely declined what was a real money making operation. We take historical wargaming only at the show seriously.

Robert, your post reminds me of the movie the Waterboy when the assistant coach talks.

Mildbill,
(1) What convention? I may be moving out your way in a few years.
(2) In period costume, would they have been acceptable as reenactors?

I sure did enjoy my HMGS Con messages :)

Great idea!

So, about this… As far as the LCCC goes it's not okay for us to bring in someone to do massages because they have a spa on the fifth floor (Mandarin Rose Spa – mandarinrosespa.com ). I haven't tried it so I can't comment on it. I don't know about if a massage company wanted to register as an exhibitor.

Having a massage service while we're at the casino? I'm sure that will warrant a slew of comments here, maybe even it's own thread. laugh Seriously, I'm not sure how they'd feel about it but I can look into it.

Re the availability of "soiled doves" at a convention, the urban legend is that about 12-15 years ago, a group of "delight therapists," having heard of our generally repressed nature and ready cash, set up shop not far from the Host in that Magnuson/Family Resort hotel. The one just down the hill thats currently closed.

As the story goes, they only stayed one night, then packed it in and left, as they'd done virtually no business. Subsequent speculation was that nobody knew about it til after theyd gone, or that no one wanted to consider parting with money they might want to have for the Flea Market.

Does the massage come with a "Happy Ending"?

Robert P, please come in from the cold. Hope you are well up there.
