I broke out the camera for the latest round of Republique 5 beta games, first pic is French infantry advancing on some Austrian grenadiers off the screen right (the attack bounced, grenadiers held firm despite the FR horse artillery support).

The Austrian grenadier reserve. Game was played on a Deep Cut Studio "Plains" mat, which worked great as usual.

I see two Austrian 'flugel' but no generals, were they still at tea?

Haha… busted. I'm short on general officers for the Austrians and have been using staff officers and colonels for some of the command bases. Need to paint more (or maybe the attrition rate has just been THAT bad!). Off the right side of this photo are four or five "real" general officer figures in various positions down the line.

Here we go, right side of the pic, slightly overexposed.

I liked the way this lancer shot came out, had to take three pics to get this one good one in focus!
