I got a small company of dwarfs that I now paint up for a Renaissance army, mainly arquebus or crossbow, but a host of characters within. I have painted this one atm: Can somebody itendify the line? I found them in my archive but cannot remember when or where I got them. The are metals and come with round integrated bases (which I cut off to place them on 2cm round plastics).
I ponder to expand my current unit of 24 arquebusiers, but need a hint where to start looking. |

28mm for non-dwarfs (so these are around 22mm) I will put up some photos of the rest of the line tomorrow. |

Might be an Alternative Armies dwarf, for the "Fantasy Warlord" range. |

Sorry, no luck there. Here is the main scuplt for the gunners – there are four different variants:

He looks like a (Bob Olley) Ral Partha dwarf arquebusier, not sure if this sculpt is in production? Take a look at 02-035 Dwarf Arquebusiers (you may recognise the 2 sculpts still available)? link |

Thanks for the tip. They look really pretty close, but are not the gunners on my table. Nonetheless, the purpose was to flesh out the unit, so I ordered three of each version :-) I also found the source for some of my ogres and the steamtank. The hunt, however, continues… |

Here is a last image of three of the sculpts next to each other – the final gunner has a felt cap.

The Assault group has dwarfs in their fantasy line that are very close. |

TAGs are a bit more on the clunky comincal side. I do have their "landsknecht style" range :-) It really irks me not knowing :-/ |

I believe they are indeed Ral Partha. I bought a bunch of them cast in plastic ,at a con, that RP was experimenting with shortly before they went belly up/ became Iron Wind. They look like Bob Olleys because they are :) |
