Yet at the battle of Dresden an eye witness just commented on that – that Guard artillery changed into parade dress before the battle. On the other hand there are comments for other battles, Friedland for example, where the gunners took off their coats. The painted miniatures look awesome however – I did not expect anything less from the skilled brush work of Frank Becker. |

Manning the guns in full dress must have been fun. Being an artilleryman is fun as well as being just plain hard work. There is nothing like being on a gun line. |
