The Italeri kit is not a quick build, but a couple of hours and a little TLC gives you a very nice model. Mine is currently awaiting an AB commander… |

Are there any documented instances of the AB40 in combat? In particular in combat with European adversaries (as opposed to colonial "natives")? When I built out my Italian force I included a few AB40s, mostly for what-if scenarios of the very early war period. But I have not seen any accounts I can recall of that version seeing action -- I believe all had been converted to AB41 by the time they saw action. What say ye? -Mark 1 |
