Just exactly that. I've added pictures of some newly completed camps on my Camps and Baggage page. If you are a member of our hugely popular Facebook community, you will have seen the Sea Peoples Ship
or Hunting in the Delta
… otherwise head over to Shows North/Camps and Baggage where there are now over 30 different models featured. You never know what you might find Comments always appreciated. Phil Ancients on the Move/SoA Shows North

Excellent camps Phil. Love the use of flats and your colours really zing. Making camps really help complete DBA or HOTT armies and they are great little vignettes too.Bravo. |

Thanks for all the positives. It is very rewarding that you have taken the time to comment. Yes Kropotkin303, I think the introduction of camps and baggage as functioning game pieces in the DB family of wargames has added something to how we collect armies. Camping can be fun, jwebster ! Phil |

Phil; very nice work, how much time did it take to complete the ship and river? |
Yesthatphil | 02 Apr 2021 10:06 a.m. PST |
If it's 'fess up' time, oldbob, I bought several of those Essex Biblical ships about ten years ago (actually, maybe more ) back when 'everyone' played DBM and there were naval elements. Got some of the way with a couple of them, otherwise they just ended up in a box. Then, after over a decade, my camera roll shows me taking a picture of the first stages of theship conversion, above, last summer (when I was planning out several Biblical armies) … since then it's mostly been a veritable blitz over a couple of evenings in January: of course the figures were painted when the army figures were done). So, take your pick … 12 years, or 6 months during which time 4 DBA armies, half my Lace Wars project and some WW2 were done … or a couple of evenings in which to make the base and catch the ship model up to mate with the figures as the army was being completed ! Good question Phil
