Excellent batrep, thanks for sharing! I really love the look of your 3mm setup, especially the mat itself, very effective, and on a 6' x 4' the ranges look fantastic. I agree with your assessment, VERY quick and bloody. Who knows how it would have gone in real life, but that's what everyone expected, right? Sorry I have no insight into the full version of the rules. Though I have to disagree with you, this was a clear allied victory. Now the Brits silently withdraw, let the Reds waste a few tons of 122mm and 152mm HE, establish a new line, and do it all again! I suppose the second line will be established at Mohrnung-Breth? ;) Thanks again. V/R, Jack |

That is a great AAR, Elenderil! I enjoyed the pictures as well. I have played using these rules with our group a few years ago and enjoyed them. I bought the rules based on my experience playing and look forward to running some games of my own soon. Thanks for posting this! |

Great AAR. I think to really play with modern stuff 3mm is the way to go. Lets you have the ranges of all the modern toys, and look like thee is ranged combat. |
