So, I have often seen battle reports on blogs done with pictures and the blogger has used a scenic backdrop to hide [whatever-for me it would be my basement walls]. I think it looks very cool and creates an ambiance for the blog. where does one get one of those, or are they created? Like to know for future battle reports on a blog.

TIA.

I know on Blogger you get the option to change the layout under the 'Themes' tab on the left of the screen.
That is what I did anyway…

Try searching for "model railroad scenic backgrouunds."

Thanks. Both suggestions make sense. Appreciate it.

Model railway backgrounds are very good.

An alternative is to spray wallpaper sparingly with your sky colour of choice.

Less is more here.

I use washing line run through hooks and the paper is then attached to the line with clothes pegs.

The results are very satisfactory.

Best wishes ,

Chris

One wargamer had a wife who was good at painting landscapes he could place behind his game.

LOL – I really should read the original post more carefully!

Sorry!

Took me ages to find.
The model railway shops call them backscenes:
