Lots of time gaming over the last nearly 40 years, and I've a number of skirmish scenario systems I can pirate ideas from, however, I'm wondering if anyone has published a volume[s] with historical scenarios of the FIW. And yes, I can steal ideas from "Last of the Mohicans" I own the film! But, sometimes it is good to just adapt a pre-made historical scenario that I didn't spend a lot of time researching. Thanks in advance for any leads! |

Have you looked at the "Muskets and Tomahawks" supplement for F&IW,AWI and 1812 called "Redcoats and Tomahawks"? It has a fairly clever scenario generation system that feels historically plausible my FLGS group has used and enjoyed. |

I wrote a rule set called "Buckskins and Rangers" with a dozen historical scenarios included. Check out my website: battlefieldgamedesigns.com Regards, Hitman 😎 |

Try looking for an older set of rules called, "Habitants & Highlanders" from the Canadian Wargamers Group. Very popular in the mid/late 90s. Along with the rules are about 10 scenarios and a campaign system. The scenarios can easily be adaptable to other small skirmish game system. Well worth the find. Good luck! P. |

Well, I have a great book I'm reading by John Grenier called "The Far Reaches of Empire: War in Nova Scotia 1710-1760". If you can't make decent skirmish scenarios out of that, I'll eat my cocked hat. Eric |

War on the Run by John F. Ross is full of scenario inspiration, I believe. A detailed account of Roger's Rangers various encounters and tactics. An early example of a special forces unit, according to the author. |
