"cannot access Fields of Fire Reloaded forum" Topic

I just signed into the forum, looked at one post, then
went to a blank page with the statement critical message.
I was told I had been banned from this forum.

I go back to two forums ago and was a legendary member
with this new one. I only check in every couple of weeks.

Bravo Six, can you give me any help or what has happened.
Another fellow gamer has had the same thing happen. Neither
of us have violated any rules.

Sam, not sure why you're getting that error. I looked up your username and you're not showing as banned.

Try to log in again and see what happens. Let me know if you're still having problems.

Who is the other member having these issues?

It was Hayes Wauford. In his case, he could access from his
phone, but not his laptop. May have that reversed. Happened to him several weeks ago. Will try again and let you know.

Just tried again, still getting that critical message page
and statement that I have been banned from this forum.
Did not use a link, but used fieldsoffire.forumotion.com

My laptop has some age on it and both an unsupported OS as
well as unsupported version of Google browser. At my age,
I am not much up on 'puter technology or fixes.

You might need to dump your cache because you're not showing as banned. Neither is Hayes for that matter. Weird.

Had tried earlier just clearing my google browsing history.
This time did the cntrl,shift,del to dump the cache and it
worked like a charm.

Will pass that on to Hayes, if he is still having trouble.

I love when someone comes up with a quick fix like that. I can spend hours swearing at my PC, but then one of my sons comes in. Two or three clicks and all is well. But they never tell me what they did.

That Fields of Fire forum is very good indeed

It has that advantage that is lacking here.

I can go to "new postings since you were last here" or some such wording.

Couple of French sites I visit daily, both offer the same service (in French mind you..I can struggle. Classical French is easy, but slang and jargon is murder).

Fields of Fire even sends you an e mail to say there has been a further message on a thread you may be following (obviously you can withdraw from any topic).
