You can convince a lot more people with a stick of dynamite and a smile than a smile alone! Great find |

Never had any idea that Hasbro did a GI Joe figure of her! I too had forgotten her from the old Sgt. Rock comics. Nice find and thanks for sharing! |

I think the M. Marie figure is licensed by Hasbro but was actually made by someone else. Dreams and Visions actually made the figure and accessories. Hasbro licensed the GI Joe name for several high quality items. Irwin made blow molded vehicles for GI Joe. In the SGT Rock comics they have a post war reunion and M. Marie shows up with a son that looks a lot like SGT Rock. GI Joe also did SGT Rock and four Easy Company figures that were licensed by DC. Thanks for reading guys. Not to go all grammatical on you, but M. is the French abbreviation for Monsieur, Mister. Marie is Mlle. for Mademoiselle, or Miss. At the time, being ten or eleven, and not knowing any French, I thought Mlle (they used the abbreviation, never spelling it out in the Sgt. Rock comics) was some sort of misprint for Millie.
