I'm looking for a large, winged hound in 25-28MM scale. Anybody have any suggestions?

That's an oddly specific request! I think you're going to have to kitbash using something like this: link

Reaper is my usual go to source for beasties. No specific winged hound, but easy to do a conversion from one of the hounds they have.

If you find a dog you like, I'd be happy to send you a set of Reaper bat wings that are 30 mm from wing tip to wing tip. You'd need to carve a notch in the dog's back to mount the wings.

You can make bat wings by using toothpicks for the bones, gluing them at the joints, on wax paper. Once the wing skeletons are formed, apply thin cotton fabric, or tissue paper, across the bones. Spray the material with a 50/50 mix of PVA Glue and Water. Hang them upside down, so they sag between the bones. Let them dry, and the wing material will harden in the proper shape (apply a 2nd coating of Glue/Water, to add strength). Paint, glue to the dogs. Cheers!

I'd say do a conversion. That by itself would be a fun project.

Thanks for the thoughts. Sounds like I need to consider a conversion project.

I'm loving the picture of eagle-winged angel dogs in a fight with bat-winged devil dogs…
