There are a couple of pages about this battle in a book I've just read 'King Stephen and the Anarchy' by Chris Peers which has a chapter on Wales in this period. The author is of the view that there doesn't seem to be much information on the battle available (other than it was a Welsh victory), and a source that has been taken by some to attribute the Welsh victory to the longbow was written 50 years after the battle and wasn't referring to the battle of Crug Mawr at all. There seems to be a lot more detail in the YouTube video though!
