…American Troops

"At least five rockets hit the Iraqi military air base of Balad north of Baghdad on Monday, without causing casualties, Iraqi security officials said.

The Iraqi military said two additional rockets fell outside the Balad air base and caused damage to a civilian house, with no casualties reported. No group immediately claimed the attack, but armed groups that some Iraqi officials have said are backed by Iran have claimed similar incidents in the past.

Interesting how this seems to no longer make the news, and nothing of real substance will be done to stop it.

When Iran tells you that, you can bank on just the opposite.

Apparently US also gets forewarning about these attacks so they can evacuate staff and key equipment.

Rumours are the Iranians are deliberately warning US to limit casualties in order to prevent escalation.

Very interesting if true … If that is the case, I think the Iranians and their "proxy", militias, etc., don't want the US to bring in more aircraft, missiles, etc., to do much more damage to them. As they know if the USA wants. It can turn some places/targets into the dark side of the moon without WMDs. 🌑

That being said with the current US leadership. I think they believe/hope if they don't do too much if any damage to the US. Only for saving face, which is very important to many Arabs, etc., in that region.

They may get a "better" Iranian Nuke Deal 2.0. But even I doubt that will occur. Of course we could always fly in more pallet loads of cash … as that worked so well before … 😆
