I recently decided to strip and repaint my 6mm Brits since my previous paint scheme was way too dark. I found these picture while looking around online and want to try and reproduce it. I was hoping someone on this forum maybe be able to suggest a green paint which is close to this colour as so far I have had no luck, all the paints I have tried have either been too dark, too bright or too brown.

How about Vallejo Panzer Aces 327 Italian Tankcrew. I've seen it used to great effect as a highlight to SC15 in 15mm. |

That looks a lot like what Pete Skaar does. He posts a lot on various 6mm facebook groups. The color looks similar to zinc chromate green spay primer. Found on Amazon in various shades. |

That looks a lot like what Pete Skaar does. He posts a lot on various 6mm facebook groups. He also posts here under the name Captain Pete. His work is featured in the 6mm thread "GHQ German StuG IIIs", and also appears among the most recent work in the "Recent 6mm Work…" thread. But that does not look like Pete's work to my eye. Pete usually places his pieces on GHQ terrain hexes (he has done many of the pics used to illustrate the GHQ catalog). Rather, to my eye that looks like the work of the modeller who goes by the tag "WWIICentral". But I could be wrong… (Added on edit: Oh yeah, just followed the blog link in the OP, and yep, that's WWIICentral's work.) -Mark (aka: Mk 1) |

I believe those excellent Russian vehicles were painted by the very talented Tanner Simmons aka WWII Central. I recognize his style. |
