Hi, I am trying to determine what manufacturers work well together size wise – I realize some are slightly off – but some just don't work as well. I have found that Wargames Foundry, Crusader and Brigade Games figures work really well together. But would really value some input the following – if they will work mixed in with the three listed above: Reaper Harlequin – and then was Black Tree and I think currently owned by Bridge Gladiator Wars – West Wind/Old Glory RAFM Castaway – I think they are too small Steve Barber – these might be too small as well Any input greatly appreciated. Thanks, Frank |

Old Glory are too small and far from the quality of Foundry and Crusader, tney really do not go together. |

Crusader are the best and the most accurate. |

Of course your other option since no terrain is needed, is to go with the beautiful 1/32nd scale plastics from Italieri and Pegasus. |

They're not gladiators as such but the fighters from Gangs Of Rome might be useful. No idea about Reaper, they laughably claim they're 25mm models but some of their models are closer to 40mm. Eureka do a small range of Gladiators but I think they're taller than Crusader. Eureka also do a Maori range which includes the demi god Maui:
He's 30mm to the eye and would make a unique retarius.
She's 27mm to the eye and is part of Eureka's Shadowforge range. link |
