It's a 1950s or 60s Sci-Fi Film ( I think in B/W) where some civilization (Maybe not on Earth) is being attacked by mutants which continue to breach their city. There is an Earth team sort of helping them but sort of also getting double crossed by the city mucky-mucks.

The only real defense they seem to have are these lame, slow androids. I wanted to remember what the androids looked like.

PS It isn't the "The Mole Men."

I seem to recall it as a time travel story. Human from our present travel to the future earth overrun by mutants. The plan is to launch a starship to escape earth.

Sounds like I'm on the right track?

If so, the movie was caller Time Travelers and is on Amazon

Sounds like 'The Time Travelers' to me. Just watched it on Amazon Prime last month.

It's the film "The Time Travelers". Thank you.

Although "This Island Earth" is going to get watched too.

Any other classic B Sci-Fi films with good (but bad) costumes?

This Island Earth with Rex Reason and Faith Domergue. She also starred in "It came from Beneath the sea" with one of my favorite 50's actors Kenneth Tobey.
