I recently picked up some 28mm US sailors with small arms from Recreational Conflicts (great figures/company). Although they are listed as "Sand Pebbles" era troops I think they will work well for the Philippines, 1941 as they have BARs and Springfield rifles. I can not find any photos or reference to what the US Navy personal uniform would be for that location and time. Any help is very appricated. Thanks in advnace. |

In the Philippines they would be wearing undress whites: link Field service uniform would have khaki equipment and gaiters. Pulp Figures has some nice photos of their painted version in their American Adventures Abroad range: link The Recreational Conflict figures are in undress whites but generally, for working uniforms they wore cotton chambray work shirts, denim pants (trousers, stove pipe not bell bottom), blacked boots and white "dixie cup" hat.
