Question regarding the number of figures in a bag of 'Old Glory 15'/21st Century Miniatures': That is how many figures were packaged in their original bags of Ancient figures:
* Foot/Infantry types?
* Mounted/Cavalry types?

Thank you for you time!

Do you mean 19th Century Miniatures?

pretty sure it was 50 ft and 16 cav. They were smaller than the horse and musket era packs

Ancients and Medievals were (and still are) 24 infantry and 9 cavalry. Renaissance and later were 50 and 16 respectively.
They can be obtained directly from 19th Century Miniatures. I have tons of these in my armies. I really like the animation and variety and (as the saying goes) "They paint up really well." Another company related to the Original Old Glory makes a newer lie called Blue Moon. These are slightly larger, closer to 18mm.

Joe--you are correct. I meant 19th Century Miniatures.

Kevin--Thank you! I was looking for that kind of number.

Prisco--- Thank you, but I think you have errored. I now believe that it was about double that number of figures per pack.

Thank Everybody!

AuttieCat If you go to this website (19th Century Minis) link Ancient and Medieval packs are still 24 Infantry or 9 Cavalry.
Cheers!

Prisco,

I have been to this website several times. I have older, unopened packs of Ancients miniatures from this company. They contain many more figures that (24) infantry or (9) cavalry.

Without opening one of my infantry packs, I was hoping somebody could answer my initial question.

It's been too many years ago. I thought that they were around the 48 figure mark. Have you tried reaching out to them directly?

OG15s has reduced the size of many of their packs again, but not all of them. I bought Mexican war in December and it was 50 infantry. My most recent purchase in their January sale for the same figures had them in packs of 24 infantry and 8 cav. I don't know if they did that with the ancients previously, that may be the case.

If they're $20 USD US they're c50 foot or c18 mounted (12 camels). If they're $10 USD there are about 24 foot, 9 cavalry, 6 camels. If you click into the pack it usually says how many.I don't think there are many of the $20 USD packs any more. I think the problem of needing to buy 50 Cretans to get those two you needed was a disincentive . . .

Cheers,
John
