After having some in home renovation done that disrupted several days and work flow (mine, not theirs) and putting away les petit soldats into safety, it's been a change to the usual 30% research, prepping and then painting roles.

One new book arrived and prepped a few future projects, including test working first plastics in 45 years; scratch paint a couple of samples afterwards…

Other project units starting to reach 95% so there will be a surge at some stage,
cheers dave

It's always good to have your mind on a few hobby projects grin

Nice to get back into it.

Yes slightly bizarre to not be able to paint whenever I felt like it for a few days.

However, that's been subtely changing as 'conditions' change too. These days I need very good sunshine to both read books AND to paint detail on figures accurately- my eyesight despite attachments is weakening noticeably.

This is when I move to 'prepping' mode and work out some of the detailled/ customised variants I'm going to create to make truly unique/ one-off models with Frankenstein parts from whereever necessary.

Or start mass basing those models that have reached that ordained status of 'completion'… ;-)
cheers d
