I spent four days without electricity and water during the Texas ice/cold storm here in San Antonio. I had pretty much nothing to do but stay warm and spend 6+ hours a day painting by sunlight. Attached is my project – I'm almost completed, still need to finish up a few mounted figures, a ballista then some basing and done. Start to finish this will include around 150 foot, 20 mounted and 1 ballista. Here is my report I submitted to the Lone Star Historical Miniatures (LSHM) March Newsletter – you can find the full newsletter at:

After all the news about freezing, broken pipes, flooding, and boiling water, it is nice to hear some good news out of the Lone Star State (OK, there were the turtles, that was good news, too!).

Great work under difficult situations Charlie. You know how to make lemonade out of life's lemons!
