I've finished my fleet; I rather doubt I'll ever need more than these (although some crashed ones would be handy). More about them on t'blog. link |

'Sorry, Sir … you wanna run that by me again? Lie down and let them run us over, then attack them from underneath???' Phil |

I don't think I've ever seen scalloped edges on bases, before now. I understand the concept, just never seen it done before. It begs the question: what material did you use for the bases, and what did you use to cut the edges with? Nice chariots -- very nice! Cheers! |

Very impressive mix. So many chariots so little time. But it is funny how I was just getting mine sorted out for some work. Massive amounts of inspiration as always! But running over those bushes… link I did my reins with metal sheet cut from old paint tubes and wine cork covers. It's like thick foil and stays in place fairly well over the years. The reins in Spain stay mainly on the plains! but I like your whips. And yes I too am fond of how the Polemarch one turned out:

I think I first came up with the concept, in the car on the war back from Colours, one year. On the right coloured cloth they are much less visible than straight edges. This was not the right coloured cloth. ;-) I sell a big range of them in the BigRedBatShop, and base all my own minis on them. JJ, your lovely chariot was Shaun's painting guide. |

"JJ, your lovely chariot was Shaun's painting guide." Very true to the classic painting by Angus McBride. Th eony think lacking is the real fancy reins buckle thingy.
