Who makes a Chupacabra figure with the 'right' look?

Chimpy23 Feb 2021 9:43 p.m. PST

What's the right look for a fictitious creature?

I've got a Artisan Dracula's American model for mine. Don't imagine that I'll need any more.

While we're at it, what is the right look for a Wendigo? A creature with horns or a cannibal spirit?

Me. Homemade is best for one off cryptozoological figures.

Texaswalker24 Feb 2021 9:40 a.m. PST

Wow, Etotheipi, that is ugleeey.

Bashytubits24 Feb 2021 9:59 a.m. PST

Yes, homegrown is always best.

Reaper makes a decent one.

I thought a Wendigo was a wind creature, like August Derleth's, "Wind Walker"

Looks like a girl I used to date

Thanks. I like Little Chupy. I try to get him on the table any time I need a mysterious one off cryptozoo, but he was originally designed to suck goats.

The Hellboy wendigo:

I like him, but I'm a big HB fan. Lots of good art and artists. The wendigo is indeed a wind elemental/minor deity, but it does have (occasionally?) corporeal form. As well as shredding those that displease him, he does eat 'em too.

I've seen pics of a hairless raccoon; That would make a good chupacabra (maybe that's what people have seen… ;-)

So here are some alternative renditions of the Wendigo (as horned creature):

Thanx.

You also have to wonder if chupacabra legends started when some European brought over an exotic pet like a hyena …

Don't get too worried Schwartzy, someday you will find your funny.

von Schwartz ver 227 Feb 2021 3:55 p.m. PST

I like hyenas, they have a great sense of humor. At least they still laugh at my jokes even if no one else does.

I like these:

Well, my dog does smile when I tell her a cat joke!

MiniPigs – Those are some nice humanoid/canine looking goat suckers! I pr4obably would have gone with a a more mammalian paint scheme – cinnamon skin with brown undertones and dark brown stripes or spots. Maybe stripes and spots…

Au pas de Charge09 Mar 2021 9:52 p.m. PST

Really? I kind of like the "lime in the coconut" paint scheme.

I also like how they seem to have invaded someone's backyard. I thought I saw a 28mm clothes line with wash sculpt around somewhere.
