Just idle curiosity, I don't currently aspire to buy any, but does anyone know why these aren't in production? Or if they are, where? I see that many other Ral Partha figures are available, but haven't seen these. I always thought they were exceptionally nice, even for Ral Partha. |

I think that range is out of production. But they make Spanish still. You can still get them on eBay Link: link Hope this helps P.S. You can ask them about the Condottiere range. |

Check out Ral Partha Legacy. They have the molds. Jacob is the gent who handles the figs. I'm am not certain if he has them along with the Colonials from Partha for sale yet. He has a website and Facebook presence. Thanks. John |

Based on the price, they are mighty proud of those figures. |

I have lots of these and they're great figures. Wonderful sculpting, paint very well. Don't understand why they are not in production! |

Because they don't match what is being made today? |

79thPA: Because they don't match what is being made today? Interesting suggestion. I am not sure what you mean by this, exactly. If I had to guess, I would speculate that your meant that a lot of the most highly detailed, well proportioned, high quality Renaissance-era gaming figures made currently tend to be in scales other than true 25mm, so that the Ral Partha ones would either look undersized next to 28mms, or else stand out like swans among the ducks, when placed on the table next to other 25mm figures. Did I guess right, or did you mean something else? |

Correct. My brother and I owned tons of Partha back in the day, but I wouldn't consider them now because they are too small compared to everything else out there. I like to be able to pull figs from multiple manufacturers, so true 25s are a non-starter for me. |

That's too bad, they are nice figures. My long ago room-mate had a bunch. We weren't too concerned with slight mixing of scales back then, but our circumstances were probably different. 28mm wasn't really a thing yet, and Citadel figures were still just considered overstuffed 25s, and further, he was just using them as a component of a human fantasy army, so all kinds of figures of various shapes and were running around, so slight scale variances weren't all that noticeable anyway. In a historical tabletop setting of today, I imagine the size difference would stand out a lot more. Still, I don't think some Old Glory 25s, or similar, would look too bad next to the Ral Parthas, assuming both were painted reasonably well. I remember seeing a Minifigs vs Ral Partha con battle in which the Minifigs totally put the RP troops to shame, purely because the Minifig troops had insanely beautiful paint jobs, and the Partha folks had kinda phoned it in. |
