As is customary on a Monday, here's the latest post on the King's Lifeguard of Horse. I've chosen to represent them as cuirassiers, reasoning? Just because! As usual more pictures and brief history at link

As always an excellent job on the "Troop of Show!" I like your take on Royal Cuirrasiers. God save the King! |

I'm far from an expert on the weapons and armor of the period, but they look good to me! |

Thanks all for your kind words. PzGeneral – the great thing about the ECW is there are so many gaps in our knowledge even the most ardent button counter has to make things up. |

Thanks takeda. There are a few 'wargamers' favourites' that have been missing from my armies. They were all there, but went AWOL for a number of years (very long and dull story). But I have them back and I'm working my way through them. The London lobsters have been noticeable by their absence, now painted and in the queue for their five minutes of fame on the blog. Next up on the painting table are a blue and white regiments of the LTB. |
