For me it's the Panzerjager IV L/70, or the StuG III, or the Panzerjager I. Come to think of it the StuG's not a TD… |

I like the StuG III with the "hogs head" mantlet. It might not have been a TD but it was used for that and as a tank, as I remember reading. I am no expert, though. |

Gotta be the Hetzer for me…

Jagdpanther – coolest vehicle the Germans built. |

My top three were the Nashorn, Panzerjager IV (L70 Lang) and the Jagdpanther. Might be interesting to expand the poll to include all WW II Tank Destroyers! |

PsJgr V, PzrJgr I and the Nashorn. All three have great style and effectiveness for their time on the battlefield. If we add in other nation's tank destroyers then I will add in the M10 and the Su-85 |

Jagdpanther. Didn't have nearly enough of them. |

Gentlemen, we need either fisticuffs or a poll to settle this. |

Marder I, II, III. Interesting adaption of obsolete vehicles, good firepower, billboard sized profile and paper thin armor. Hetzer. Interesting adaption of obsolete vehicle, good firepower, molehill sized profile and good frontal armor. |

The humble StuG III Followed by Jagdpanther, then the Hetzer |

Jagdpanther, of course – the early one with the smaller, gun mantlet, which looks much nicer than the bigger, bolted in one. JgPz IV/L48 and JgPz IV/L70 are pretty much neck and neck. I think I prefer the one with the shorter barrel, and the muzzle break, since it just looks cool, but when you really need to put the hurt on someone, you'll want that L70 barrel. JgPz VI – Jagd Tiger, next, for obvious reasons. That big gun is an excellent standoff weapon, especially when well sighted from a position on high, overlooking the main road(s). Hetzer comes in 4th, or 5th, depending upon how you want to count the above, since it is just so darn cute, with a respectable gun, and a very low profile. |

Relatively quick too, as well as being small, hard to see, and harder to hit. |

Interesting list. Notice no matter what anyone selected, they didn't have enough of them. Only the STUGIII was in any qty that could impact war fighting. Now if they had: 10k STUGIII ( which they did ) 10k JAGDPZIV L\70 10k JAGDPANTHER Might have put a serious hurt on all fronts. |
