I had an ancient pot of Reaper paint called Green Steel.
It finally gave up and solidified completely. It has to be 15+ years old so I definitely got my money's worth out of it.
Of course it's out of production at Reaper.
I'm looking to replace it with another acrylic metallic green.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Salutations !

You might try the DecoArt Extreme Sheen metallic paints decoart.com or possibly available at local craft store)

Comes in colors of 'Peridot' (light green), 'Emerald' (dark green) and 'Aquamarine' (blue-green). I've used the latter mainly for water-base color, with coat of tinted-clear over. No problems with it

Many of the craft paint lines have metallic green paint, but the complaint some people have is that the pigments supposedly aren't ground as fine as in hobby paints. And that the paints don't always cover as well, you may need several coats.

You might try Pro Acryl Metallic Medium from Monument Hobbies and mix with your preferred green. Another option would be to base coat with a good bright silver and cover with a transparent green -- like one of the contrast paints or the transparents from Badger.

Metallic medium from Vallejo

Good suggestions above.

Metallic paints are made by adding reflective particles to the color. The reflective particles without any color produces metallic silver. Some artist brands sell this directly, e.g. Vallejo Metallic Medium, or Liquitex Iridescent Medium. Other brands sell it as metallic silver.

But anyway, this means we can mix any metallic color by starting with metallic silver and adding our color of choice. This might be worthwhile if say, you only need Metallic Green about every 15 years and don't want the bottle to sit around and dry out.

All great suggestions! I didn't know there was a metallic medium to mix with standard colors .
I'm going to look in to this.
Thanks!
