Do you talk to yourself while painting minis?

Sometimes, normally when I turn the air blue after making a mistake

That's insane. Plus, it's impolite not to talk to your minis while you are painting them.

Usually talk to the figure or the air in general when I make a mistake

It's when they talk back that you should begin to worry (and then open a window to vent the paint fumes… ;-)

Sometimes, but that is not unusual for me.

Yes but I don't listen.

It depends. If someone else is in the room, I might talk to them. If not, then there's not really anyone else to talk to but myself, is there? Sort of a no choice situation.

Then I say something about the quality of my painting and then I'm off into an interminable argument about how I painted SO much better in my teens and did I really think that was a skin tone? Well, did I?
At which point I go and get a beer, throw on some old rock n'roll and it all goes downhill from there.

I only talk to other people, whether they are there or not.

Usually I listen to music or talk radio. I don't talk to myself, get into too many arguments.

I listen to music. If a friend is over and we are painting, we talk.

I don't like myself very much so I just listen to music.
