Hi I recently purchased some Footsore Picts. These seem slimmer less chunky than the Saxons I purchased some years ago. Are more recent Footsore ranges (Late Saxons for example) similarly smaller? |

Aren't Picts supposed to be of quite slight stature? |

Re-pops would be smaller. Where did you buy these? |

Skipper John I got these from Footsore. I'm really just asking if the sculpting style has changed in the last decade. I sold the Early Saxons some time ago so I could be mistaken but the Picts are smaller than, say GB or Warlord dark ages metals and I remember the footsore early Saxon range was in keeping with GB etc. |

My collection of dark ages is primarily Griopping Beast, Crusader and Footsore. Mixing them does not bother me. The Crusader and Footsore mix well – they are the same height and similar build, although the Footsore are the most realistically proportioned and slighter than the Crusader. The Gripping Beast are taller and thicker. They are the least accurately proportioned of the three. In the Footsore, the armored Saxons are thicker than the armored Picts. I see no difference in the unarmored Saxons and Picts build. All are the same height. |

Sculpting style will have changed as Bill no longer produces the new figures, as far as I am aware. |
